Our challenge was to define a distinctive image that would mirror that of a “Skills Tower”, The winner of the International property award 2021-2022 defines a bold and contemporary tower that changes appearance as it rises. This concept delicately shows modern and innovative technologies while applying the questions of visual stability, harmony and dynamism which have proved to be crucial.

Seeking the simplicity of materials and construction rather than complicated virtuosity, we sought to combine the natural landscape with a pure design, creating a delicate, almost imperceptible border between the building and the natural landscape with the aim of presenting the most appropriate work. The Skills Tower emphasises transparency and lightness and responds to the balance between architecture and nature. In order to make the most of natural light, the characteristics of different materials have been used to create a softer and more subtle play of light and shadow.

The surface is nothing more than a thin layer between interior and exterior spaces, breaking free from traditional forms of walls and windows to create a visible interface between the two, which perfectly embodies the artistic essence of the contemporary architecture and modern materials.
